DiscoverPISA: guided tours with Martina Manfredi

As you know, I live in Vecchiano, 7km away from Pisa. Here I own a small holiday home, Casina al Monte, where i host guests from alla over the world. To offer the guests more opportunities, I got in touch with some Pisa licensed tour guide. My preferred one is Martina Manfredi. She owns Tuscany at Heart and organizes very interesting tours. Today Martina tell us about her new tour.

Pisa is a small Tuscan gem, known worldwide for its leaning Tower, standing in the Miracles Field, together with the Cathedral and the Baptistery, but how about a walking tour around the city?

From its wild and magical beaches (Calambrone and Marina di Vecchiano), its Natural Park (San Rossore), Botanical garden, majestic churches and historical buildings to its mythical legends and dramatic history, Pisa can only be regarded as a jewel of the Tuscan Coast.

What better way to discover the hidden secrets of Pisa than through a 2/3 hour stroll along the narrow streets of the old town centre. The itinerary stops at eateries to taste local produce (not included in the price); places of interest to discover the town’s history and culture; and photograph vantage points where you will be informed on activities to indulge in during your stay in Pisa.

Lead through the town by a Licensed and professional Local Guide, who travelled and studied abroad (England, Scotland, Germany, France, Spain, Holland, USA) for several years, this walk is limited to a small group which will ensure your absolute understanding of this beautiful town.
